Hilton Rebrands With A Shorter Name And A Simple New Logo In A Box

Well-known global hospitality company Hilton revealed a new corporate identity and logo recently—following the trend of keeping things simple, they have shorten their name and launched a clean new logo.
Dropping the word “Worldwide” from its name to be known as just “Hilton”, the company has also applied the principles of this latest redesign to the identity of Hilton Honors, an award-winning customer loyalty program that it manages.
The new logo of a framed wordmark that has been adopted from the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, the most recognizable of the company’s properties—however, website Brand New found that this logo has been ruined by a new typographic style that makes it “feel cheap”.
