Hershey’s is giving its own candy bars a run for their money with a crunchy ice cream version that is out to melt dessert lovers’ hearts.
Convenience stores in South Korea have stocked Hershey’s ‘Crispy Sandwiches’, which are essentially a textural wonderland in your mouth. There’s that creaminess from sweet vanilla ice cream, the richness from the chocolate ganache filling, and the crackle from the bars’ outer wafer shells.
Just like regular chocolate bars, the wafers can even be snapped into neat cubes for sharing. More specifically, they’re perfect for one—and are breakable only to tease your eyes with their delicious cross-sectional appearances.
South Korean reviewers seem to enjoy them thoroughly, saying that there’s “chocolate in every bite” of these sugary snacks.
It’s also impossible to complain about their price. At just KR₩2,000 (US$1.90) a sandwich, they certainly crunch all expectations about treating yourself being an occasional indulgence.
