Apple is celebrating Pride this year with a spectrum of possibilities, inviting fans to choose the colors that resonate most with them.
First up, there’s the eye-catching Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop band for Apple Watch, which encompasses a fluorescent, multicolored design inspired by various pride flags. Black and brown hues acknowledge the struggles of Black, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ communities affected by HIV/AIDS, while pink, light blue, and white represent transgender and non-binary individuals. The accessory will be available to order from May 22 and will set you back US$99.
Another embrace of the rainbow sees the stunning Pride Radiance watch face, which sees beams of light dance across a dark background to symbolize the enduring impact of LGBTQ+ activism. Notably, the colors can be personalized to match your personal pride. The watch face will be available with a future software update (watchOS 10.5).

To spread the love, Apple’s bringing new dynamic wallpapers to the iPhone and iPad. Similar to the watch face, these backgrounds sport colorful beams that spell out “Pride” and come alive when you unlock your device. Again, you get to pick the colors. These will also be available with the upcoming software update (iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5).
The inclusive series supports a variety of LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations working towards positive change, including ILGA World, the Human Rights Campaign, Encircle, Equality North Carolina, Equality Texas, GLSEN, Equality Federation, the National Center for Transgender Equality, PFLAG, SMYAL, and The Trevor Project.
